Mary T. Materazzi, age 89, of Scranton, passed away in Mechanicsburg on Saturday, June 04, 2011, at the home of her daughter, Maryann Lesh. Born August 23, 1921, in Old Forge, PA, she was the thirteenth, of fourteen children born to the late Bernardino and Maria Angela (Bartocci) Mattei.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Quentin P. Materazzi, a son, Raymond R. Materazzi and twelve brothers and sisters.
Surviving are her daughter, Maryann T. Lesh and husband John of Mechanicsburg, son, Thomas C. Materazzi of Drums, PA, four grandchildren, Stephanie Ambrozy, Thomas Materazzi, Jacqueline Lesh-Morgal and Jonathon Lesh, two great grandchildren, Quentin and Joseph Ambrozy and a sister, Lena Dreweingo of New Brunswick, NJ.
Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 11, 2011, in the chapel at Old Forge (PA) Cemetery.
