Almeda Matlock
Dos Palos - Funeral services for Almeda C. Matlock, 81, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Whitehurst Funeral Chapel in Dos Palos.
The Rev. Jack Burris of the Gospel Defenders Church of Dos palos will conduct the services and burial will be in the Dos Palos District Cemetery.
Mrs. Matlock died Saturday in a Merced hospital. Born March 19, 1901, in Jplin, Mo., she moved to Dos Palos in 1936 where she was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Wesley Matlock of Dos palos and Garret Matlock of Firebaugh; a daughter, Gussie Cruthirds of Niland; a half sister, Ivy Young of Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions to the American Heart Association would be appreciated by the family.
