Plain Dealing, July 5.
Funeral services for David Matlock, 42, oil field worker who died of a heart attack yesterday morning at Lake Charles, will be held Tuesday afternoon at 4pm in the First Baptist Church of Plain Dealing.
Survivors are the widow, Zeffie Kirklin Matlock; twin daughters, Marjorie and Margaret; three sons, Bobbie James, Donald, and Roger; parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Matlock, all of Plain Dealing. Eight brothers and one sister also survive. They are: Clines, Ray, Weldon, and Harold of Plain Dealing; Drew of Talco, Texas; Loyd of Winnie, Texas; Dixon of New Augusta, Mississippi; and Persey of Sumpter, S. C. and a sister, Mrs. Doris Crane of Shreveport.
