Funeral Services For Mrs Barnes At Violet Hill

Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at Violet Hill for Mrs Dolly Mathis Barnes, a resident of near Oxford, who died at the home of her daughter in Neosho, Missouri. Rev F. J. Light of Mountain Grove, Missouri conducted the service. Roll-Barber Funeral Home was in charge of burial.

Mrs Barnes was born in Izard County August 30, 1882. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include six children: Albert Barnes of Batesville; Claud Barnes of Franklin, Eula Sellars of Neosho, Missouri, Zelma Billingsley of Batesville, Elda Campbell of Brockwell and Ether Taylor of Oxford; two sisters, Mary Williams, Bexar and Tennie Pogue of Wiseman, nineteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
