"Mrs. Alice A. Moore, aged forty nine years, wife of Charles W. Moore, died at her home, 184 North Twenty-sixth street, this afternoon at 12:45, after an illness of shorter than two months. She leaves besides her husband, one daughter Mrs. Edna Moore, and one son, Everett, also her mother, Mrs. Monroe Mathis, and six brothers who live in Parsons and vicinity. Mrs. Moore has lived in Parsons for the past fifteen years and was raised from childhood a few miles west of the city. She was a charter member of the Washington Avenue Methodist church, and has always been active in religious and charitable work. She was a member of the Rebekahs and Maccabees. Her death will bring sorrow to a large circle of friends. The funeral will be held from the Washington Avenue Methodist church Sunday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by Rev. Orton and interment in Oakwood cemetery."
