Funeral Services This Afternoon For Mrs. Gossman
Funeral services were held this afternoon at the Presbyterian church for Mrs. Mattie Gossman, 85, who died at her home on N. Ninth street Monday [February 14, 1938] evening.
She has been ill for a years and her daughter, Mrs. Edna Gee of Olivia, Minn., has been here caring for her. A son, J. L. Gossman of Chicago, also survives her.
Mrs. Gossman was born at Memphis, Ind., October 15, 1852. Interment was in Oak Hill cemetery. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, February 17, 1938)
