BOOTHWYN, PA--Marian M. Anderson of Boothwyn, PA and formerly of Penns Grove, New Jersey and Wilmington, Delaware, died peacefully at her home on Saturday, September 14, 2002. She was 72.
She was born on September 3, 1930 in Salem, New Jersey, daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy Masten. On July 3, 1954, she married the late Robert E. Anderson, Sr., and resided in Wilmington, Delaware.
Mrs. Anderson was won the honor of prettiest student in Penns Grove High School and also most likely to succeed. She worked for the DuPont Company as a lab technician for many years before turning her full attention to assisting her late husband, Robert, in very aspect of the family business of standard bred horse racing. Mrs. Anderson's favorite pastime was watching movies, making crafts, and loving and caring for her family. She always enjoyed helping people and saw good in everyone.
She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Keeley and son-in-law John of Boothwyn, PA; a son, Robert E. Anderson, Jr. and daughter-in-law Judy of Queenstown, MD; a brother Harry L. Masten of Penns Grove, NJ; and three grandchildren, Norman Maupin, John Keeley, III, and Robert J. Anderson.
