Phyllis Jean Massey, 54, of Zanesville, died at 3:30 pm Friday, February 27, 1987, at Good Samaritan Medical Center, Zanesville, following a lengthy illness.
She was born Oct. 29, 1932, daughter of Opal Kuhn of Zanesville and the late George Kuhn. Mrs. Massey had been employed by united Technologies.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons, Roy and Roger, of Zanesville, one daughter, Linda Massey, of Nashport, seven brothers, Bill Kuhn of New Concord, Jerry of North Carolina, Russel of Newark, Wayne, Ronald, and Gene of Zanesville, three sisters, Sharon Perry, Rose Schmidt of Zanesville, Kathy Law of Byesville, six grandchildren and one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews. Two best friends, Don Savage and Pat Rose.
Services were held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, March 3, 1987, at Delong and Baker Funeral Home. The Rev. Nelson Patterson officiated with Burial in Duncan Falls Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Mike and Brian Kuhn, Charles and Chad Perry, and Johnny and Gene Wyer, all nephews.
