Mrs C. C. Boyle, wife of County Judge Boyle, died at the family home in this city Thursday, July 22, after several months serious illness.
Mrs Boyle was one of the pioneers of Fairbury, coming here with her husband in the fall of 1869 and living here continuously ever since, a period of forty years Charlotte Mason and she was born (sic)
Her maiden name was Luna in Lowell, Ohio. When a child she moved with her parents to Ohio and later to Steamboat Rock Iowa, where she was married to C C Boyle.
Besides her husband, she leaves an aged mother, three daughters, Edna M., wife of E R Allen and Charlotte F Boyle, both of Fairbury; Bluma, wife of Richard Smith of El Reno, Okla. Also one son, Eugene Boyle of Kansas City, Mo; four grandchildren, one brother, F Mason of Pleasant Lake, Ind; four sisters, Olive Gross, McClellan, Idaho; Anna Cook, Des Moines, Iowa; and Mena E Shader and Dora Perry of Lincoln, Nebr.
The funeral services were held at the family residence 1202 East Seventh street at 10 o'clock Sunday morning, conducted by Mr E W Nelson of Lincoln. The remains were interred in the Fairbury cemetery.
