Stephen Mason II b. 31 MAY 1788 Litchfield, Litchfield Co., CT; d. 08 NOV 1870 Marshall, Calhoun Co., MI; buried (with second wife): Oakridge Cemetery, Old Grounds, Marshall, Calhoun Co., MI.

NOTE: Elizabeth "Betsey" Burr was the adopted/fostered daughter of Roxana Ward (nee Foote) and Rev. Lyman Beecher, D.D. of Litchfield, Litchfield Co., CT. Betsey and Stephen were married in their home.

NOTE: Rev. Stephen Mason II is not a junior to his father Rev. Elisha Mason, but rather the second son named Stephen. He had an older brother, Stephen Mason I b. 11 APR 1787 d. 17 MAY 1787 (aged 37-days-old).

2) David Burr Mason b. 04 JUN 1820 Washington, Litchfield Co., CT; d. 09 DEC 1843 Marshall, Calhoun Co., MI; buried: Oakridge Cemetery, Lot 88, Old Grounds, Marshall, Calhoun Co., MI. NOTE: Not known to have married nor have issue (died young).
