Bessie Fern Davis, 82, of Newport Beach, a homemaker, died Thursday. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Pierce Brothers Bell Broadway Mortuary, Costa Mesa. Graveside services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Pacific View Memorial Park, Newport Beach.

Bessie Mason Davis died June 29 in Costa Mesa, Calif., at the age of 83 years, after a long illness.
She attended high school in Superior, graduating with the class of 1924.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Roy Davis, and four sisters, Anna, Zana, Golda and Velma, all of whom were formerly from the Superior area.
She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Turner, and grandson, Michael, Newport Beach, Calif.; a sister, Ruth Park, Los Angeles; and brothers, Efford Mason of Long Beach and Loy Mason of Pasadena, Calif.
Interment was at Pacific View Cemetery, Corona Del Mar, Calif., where her husband is buried.
