Obituary - Mrs. Marea Marvin Brown, aged 46, of Bayport Avenue, Bayport, died on Sunday in the Southside Hospital, after a long illness. She was born in Patchogue, a daughter of Mrs. Sarah Savercool Marvin and the late Seth Webster Marvin, but had made her home in Bayport for more than 40 years. She was the widow of Stanley Brown, a well-known photographer for the New York "Daily News", who died about 16 years ago.

Mrs. Brown was graduated from Patchogue High School and for many years was employed as a secretary by the T & S Lumber Company, of Patchogue. She kept her position until ill health forced her retirement about two years ago.

Besides her mother, with whom she made her home, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. William R. Still, of Clinton, NJ, and Mrs. Paul Spahn, of Bloomfield, NJ.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the residence with the Rev. Theodore Bennett, pastor of the Bayport Methodist Church, officiating. Interment followed in the family plot in the Union Cemetery, Sayville.
