Edwarda, a lifelong resident of Chimayo, passed away at the Española Hospital after a short illness. She was predeceased by parents Pantaleon and Brigida Martinez; siblings Trinidad and Cirilio.
Edwarda was survived by her husband Reynal of the home; sons Alfonso Martinez and Cirilio Trujillo of Chimayo; sisters Alejandrina DeVargas of Albuquerque, Maria Vigil and Flora Cordova of Chimayo; 5 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many other relatives.
A Rosary was recited on 27 May 1990 in Holy Family Church in Chimayo. Funeral services were 28 May 1990 in the same church. Burial was in the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers: Andy Cordova, Danny Bustos, Adrian Garcia, Sammy Vigil, Michael Trujillo, and Elmer Bustos.
