Juliana "Julia" M. Gonzales, 92, of Des Montes passed away on March 14, 2006. She is preceded in death by her infant son, Juan Gonzales Jr., parents, Juan B. & Maria Eulogia Martínez, brothers, Vidal and Ismael Martínez and sister, Evilia Martínez. She is survived by her husband, Juan A. Gonzales, children, Priscilla Martínez (Gilbert) of Arroyo Seco, Connie DeVargas (Pete) of Santa Fe, Bernice Cordova (Fernando) of Taos and Mary Ellen Trujillo (Richard Avina) of Pueblo, CO. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Pallbearers were her grandsons, Gary Martínez, Lloyd Martínez, Edward Cordova, Lawrence Cordova, Richard Cordova, Philip DeVargas, Adrian DeVargas. Eulogy was also given by Ernest Ortega.
Rosary was recited on March 16, 2006. Funeral mass was held on March 17, 2006. Both services were held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Arroyo Seco. Interment was held at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Arrangements by Rivera-Hanlon Funeral Home.
