Thanks to Steve Loeffler for providing Minnie's burial plot.
Minnie was married to Monroe Bentley Bowman on Feb. 7, 1892.
Their children were: Stella Frances, Ada, & Monroe "Bentley," Jr.
Minnie died on September 30, 1921, one month after her 51st birthday. Her obituary follows:
Death visited the home of M.B. Bowman, calling in its relentlessness the beloved wife and mother. Minnie Bell Martin was born October 30, 1870, in Benton County, Missouri. On the 7th of February 1892, she became the wife of M.B. Bowman.
They came to Deming in March 1912. For some years they lived in Hondale. From an illness contracted a year ago, Mrs. Bowman remained a constant suffer. In all these long and weary months she bore her pain with wonderful patience. She had the love and esteem of all who knew her and the deepest sympathy is felt for the bereaved family. Beside the husband, two daughters and a son, Ms. Bowman is survived by two brothers and several sisters.
Services by Rev. W.E. Foulks and Rev. J.H. Walker were held at the Mahoney funeral parlors. Mr. and Mrs. Schurtz sang some beautiful hymns. The many beautiful floral offerings showed the esteem in which deceased was held.
School was dismissed out of respect and the pupils sent a lovely bouquet. The Hondale Homesteaders' Club also sent beautiful flowers. Interment was in Mountain View Cemetery."
