Lena Martin Ahfield was born in Osage City in 1879 and died at Prior Creek, Indian Territory on May 19, 1905.
Her childhood and young womanhood was spent in the Jersey Creek neighborhood. As a school girl she was a good student, as a worker whatever had was done thoroughly, quickly and well. She was always the center of the neighborhood gatherings and much esteemed by young and old.
She married William Ahfield a year ago and removed to Indian Territory a year ago. The services were conducted by Rev. H. H. Weyant and interment was made in the south cemetery.
