Mrs. Ketelaar died Saturday, July 2, 2011, at Riverview Manor in Pleasant Valley.
Carrie Emoa Martin was born December 12, 1922, outside LeClaire, Iowa, a daughter of Charles W. and Mayme (Devinney) Martin. She was united in marriage to Joseph W. Ketelaar on October 27, 1956. He preceded her in death on October 26, 1984.
Carrie loved country music and dogs, but her greatest joy in life was the yearly vacations to Branson, Missouri, with her devoted and loving son, Henry.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family.
Survivors include her son, Henry of Davenport; and her nieces and nephews, Cathy and Dr. Bob Ebert, Denver, Iowa, Barb Woeber, Davenport, Rich and Sue Adam, Urbandale, Iowa; and special friends, Henry Holmes, Rock Island, and Fernando Ocampo, Bettendorf; as well as Bobby and Alison, her Pekingese puppies.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joseph, and a sister, Joan Goodwin. May they rest in peace.
