Thelma Martin Dickerson, 95, a lifelong resident of Fort Worth, died Monday, Sept. 13, 2010. Service: A family graveside service and interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery. She was born Sept. 1, 1915. She was a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, K.T. and Alma Rundle Martin; husband, Claude D. Dickerson; son, C. Douglas Dickerson Jr.; cousin, Fred Royer; brother, Troy Martin; and sister, Dorothy Bywaters. Survivors: Her daughter, Jane Blackledge and husband, Carl, of Laurel, Miss.; daughter-in-law, Mira Dickerson of Fort Worth; grandchildren, C.D. Dickerson III and wife, Elyse, of Fort Worth, Hollin Dickerson of Washington, D.C., Kelsey Blackledge of Fort Worth and Carl Blackledge III of Oxford, Miss.; great-grandchildren, Simon and Amelia Dickerson; nieces, Pat Waller, Mary Lupinacci and Nancy Barker; nephews, David Bywaters, Ban Bywaters and Bill Bywaters; sister-in-law, Chris Martin; and cousin, Gayle Hunnicutt Jenkins.
