Services for Mrs. Edna Carlson, 79, of 611 NW Sixty-seventh Pl, who died of a heart ailment Sunday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Dahlstrom Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Carlson, who had been ill five days, was the widow of C.A. Carlson. Born in Polk County, she lived here most of her life. She was a member of Saylorville Baptist Church. Surviving are three sons, Alva and Kenneth of Ankeny and Vernon of Kansas City, MO; seven daughters, Mrs. Charles Cox, Christina Carlson, Mrs. Ray Quick, Mrs. Robert Quick, and Mrs. Thomas Gilbert, all of Des Moines, Mrs. John Lundstrom of Maxwell and Mrs. Harvey Kempton of Ankeny; 24 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
