Billy C. Martin, 80, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away Monday, March 30, 2015.

Billy was born January 25, 1935.
He honorably served his country in the United States Navy in Guam and Korea from 1955 to 1960 and received six medals for his service.
Billy married the love of his life, Bonnie Raye Leediker, April 24, 1956.
He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Billy was preceded in death by his son, Charles David Martin; and his parents.

Survivors: Wife of 58 years, Bonnie Martin of Azle; daughter, Terry Thomas and husband, Kenneth of Azle; son, Michael Maichetti and wife, Darlene of Shepherd; grandsons, Jason Thomas and wife, Amber of Azle, Matthew Thomas of Azle and Andrew Thomas of Watauga; great-grandsons, Gatlin, Odayin, Crea and Charlie all of Azle; sister, Mary Louise Helmcamp of Houston; sister-in-law, Edna Odom of Houston; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
