Born in Pennsylvania on July 2, 1937 to Thomas and Mary Martin.

She had one brother, Tommy Jr.

She graduated from Garden Grove High School in 1955.

She was married to her husband Verlin Dale Bowerman in 1956.

She welcomed into the world, her first child, Deborah Rae on September 6, 1957.

She went on to have two more children, Lee Ann and Brian.

She worked as a teller at Sanwa Bank and Verlin as a fireman for the Garden Grove Fire Department.

She welcomed her first grandchild, Veronica Lynn on January 25, 1983.

She had two more grandchildren, Joshua and Richard.

She spent much of her time volunteering for many church services and programs. She helped the people in need and was head of the baptism program with Verlin. She also had a big role in the RCIA helping people that came back to the church get baptized. She was instrumental in the development of the PIN program (People In Need) and volunteered her time to organize many Easter vigils. It was a pleasure to her to help others before herself. She made a difference in so many people's lives.

She never knew how much of an impact she had.

She went to be with our Lord on November 2, 2006, after fighting a battle with pancreatic cancer. She had been treated with a successful surgery, however, it returned. In the end she decided that she would much rather spend quality time with her family than go through the hardship of chemotherapy.

Her favorite phrase was "We all love you so much!"

She spent so much time enjoying the time she spent with her friends and family. She loved everyone. There wasn't a person that she didn't. She was such a blessing and touched so many lives with her gentle spirit. She was an angel then just as she is now, with our Lord.

She will be missed everyday, especially for events like weddings and birthdays.

We know that she is watching us from Heaven and protecting us from harm, just as she always has.
