ADAMS, DOROTHY JUNE MARTIN, 85, passed away Monday, April 15, 2013.

She was a longtime resident of Springfield, MO, before moving to Louisville in 2005. Mrs. Adams was born November 16, 1927 to Ella and Sam Martin. She worked as a loan officer for Boatman's Bank in Springfield, most of her career and retired in 1992. She was also a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas M. Adams; her mother, Ella, and her father, Sam; and three brothers, Don, Bill, and Owen.

She is survived by a sister, Joan Maack, of Naples, FL; and eight children, Michael Adams (Diane) of Seattle, WA, Patrick Adams (Sandra) of Kansas City, MO, Kathleen Welter (David) of Louisville, Timothy Adams of Comah, WI, Margaret LeBlanc of Forest, MS; Mary Calvillo (Roberto) of Kansas City, Shawn Adams of Springfield and Dorothy Adams of Ponchatoula, LA; 21 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held in Louisville at Pearson Funeral Home, 149 Breckenridge Lane, from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2013. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. A private burial in Cave Hill Cemetery will occur at a later date.
