Margaret H. Martin, 82, of LaPorte and Chicago, died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2006, at LaPorte Hospital.
She was born Sept. 17, 1924, in Chicago to Ira and Margaret (Lietz) Martin.
She had been a lifelong employee of Illinois Bell, retiring as a supervisor.
Surviving are three nephews, Herbert Burow, William Thiede and Robert Thiede.
Two sisters, Mae Burow and Lucille Thiede, and one brother, Charles Martin, preceded her in death.
The funeral will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 Greenwood Ave., Blue Island, Ill. Friends may call Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Evergreen Park, Ill.
