Mildred Melvina (Marshall) Bradshaw, 102, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at home. She was born in Ragged Point on September 8, 1914 the daughter of the late Robert Chaplin and Ella Irene Condon Marshall. She was the last surviving child of three sisters and two brothers.

She was educated at Hill’s Point School. On November 16, 1932 Mildred married Noble Linwood Bradshaw. Noble died on April 19, 1999.

Mildred worked at Phillip’s Packing Company and the Rob-Roy Sewing factory. She was a loving mother and home-maker and a very good cook. She loved to go crabbing and fishing and loved country music and gospel music. When her three sons played at barn dances and Madison School House she would be there. Mildred’s favorite thing to do was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons Roy L. Bradshaw (Faye) and William Randall Bradshaw, Sr., all from Cambridge; daughter-in-law Margaret Allan who has two children Cheryl and Greg; granddaughter-in-law Janet Bradshaw, Cambridge, MD; grandchildren Larry L. Bradshaw of Cambridge, Mark E. Bradshaw (Cida) of Laurel, MD, Beverly Ann Manlove (Steve) of Stevensville, MD, Jeffrey Bradshaw of East New Market, MD, Roy C. Bradshaw (Becky) of Church Creek, MD, Noble F. Bradshaw (Mary Ellen) of Gulf Breeze, FL, William R. Bradshaw II (Amy) of Laurel, DE and James H. Bradshaw (Cathy) of Town Point; great-grandchildren Andrew T. Bradshaw of Cambridge, MD, Gunther K. Bradshaw of Laurel, MD, Kaitlyn Manlove, Brian Manlove, Thomas N. Manlove and Jennifer F. Manlove of Stevensville, MD, Candi A. Price of Laurel, DE, Brandon R. Bradshaw of Laurel, DE, Matthew Bradshaw of Crestview, FL and Jacklyn Marie Bores (Shane) of Crestview, FL; great-great grandchildren Annika Price of Laurel, DE and Ronin Bradshaw of Crestview, FL and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death besides her parents and husband was a son Robert Franklin Bradshaw, grandson Lawson Benson Bradshaw, great great-granddaughter Erica Price, three daughter-in-laws, Kaye Bradshaw, Barbara Bradshaw, Ruth Ann Bradshaw, two sisters, Mary Irene Marshall James (Luther), Elizabeth May Marshall McNamara (Vernon), two brothers, John Walter Marshall (Laurina) and William Robert Marshall (Doris).

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Newcomb and Collins Funeral Home, P.A., Cambridge beginning 1 p.m. with Rev. A. Delmer Willey, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at the East New Market Cemetery. A visitation will be held an hour prior to the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mildred’s grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mildred’s name can be sent to St. Paul’s Memorial Fund, 205 Maryland Ave., Cambridge, MD 21613
