Elizabeth Marshall Goodgame, 83, a resident of Albuquerque since 1996, passed away Monday.
The Goodgames lived in the Benton Harbor-St. Joseph, Michigan area for many years, where she was chairman of the St. Joseph Arts Association during the construction of the Krasl Art Center. She also worked as a volunteer with the Y.W.C.A. in St. Joseph, teaching arts to children.
She had a love of fine arts and always enjoyed educating others and promoting their appreciation. They retired to Alamogordo, New Mexico where both were active in community activities, and finally moved to Albuquerque in 1996.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Harper Goodgame in 1997.
She was survived by her son, Thomas Harper Goodgame Jr.; sister, Constance Newell; sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Marshall and Jonnie Goodgame; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services at La Vida Llena Lifecare Retirement Community, Carter Hall, 10501 Lagrima de Oro NE, with Rev. Clyde Stanfield officiating. She will be joining her husband in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.
