Charlotte Ann Marshall Hackworth, 87, of Keyser, formerly of Ripley, departed this life March 24, 2006, in Heartland of Keyser, following an extended illness.
She was born April 11, 1918, in Dickinson, a daughter of the late Haskell A. and Anna Reber Marshall.
She was a former secretary for the West Virginia Department of Mines, and Mclean Trucking. She was also a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Ripley.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Tilden L. "Skip" and Shirley Hackworth of Keyser; grandson and his wife, Matthew and Kathy Hackworth of Ripley; and great-granddaughter, Sadie Hackworth.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester L. "Jack" Hackworth; daughter, Tari Ann; aunt, Lillian McGhee; and sister, Caroline.
The service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2006, at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with the Rev. Charles Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Jackson County Memory Gardens, Cottageville. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, at the funeral home.
