Obituary
Mrs. Amelia Catherine Coffelt, who died at her home a few miles west of Woodstock, on April 1st, 1895, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Marshall, of Woodstock. Her age was 43 years, 5 months and 25 days. She was a dutiful daughter, affectionate wife, lying and devoted mother, and a sincere christian. After much suffering she passed peacefully into the never ending rest and joy of heaven. She leaves a father and mother, husband and children, and brothers and sisters to mourn their great loss.
"Beautiful toiler they work all done,
Beautiful soul into glory gone,
Beautiful life with its crown now won,
God gives the rest.
Rest from all sorrow, watching and fears,
Rest from all possible sighing and tears,
Rest through God's endless wonderful years,
At home with the blest,
Beautiful spirit free from all pain,
Thine is the glory and infinite gain,
Thy slumber is sweet.
When her gentle spirit fled,
To realms above the azure dome,
With arms outstretched God's angels said,
Welcome sister, welcome home."
byre sister,
Annie R. Holler

News from St. Luke
We are sorry to state that Mrs. Ananias Coffelt has been lying critically ill from measles for some days, but are glad to say that under the carful treatment of Dr. Smoot she is some better at this writing.
Measles and whooping cough are the topics of conversation with us at present as there are a good many cases in this neighborhood.

Cause of Death: Neuralgia

Weep not for me my husband and children dear.
I am not dead but sleeping. As I am now, so you shall be; prepare for death and follow me.
