Helem, Wilma Thacker, Hazel Bolden (Cecil) and Edith Blackwell (Melvin); devoted nephew, Donnell Thacker (Deidra); brother-in-law, David Barnes; special friends, Wilbert Gant, Wesley Wheeler, Walter Johnson, Sr. and Dorene Mock; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 16, 2012 from the chapel of Johnson & Sons, 115 Holderby Street with Dr. Wesley Hendrix and Rev. Reginald Coleman presiding. The family visitation will be Thursday from 10:30 until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
