Death: Jun. 18, 1881

Son of Elisha Robinson Marshall and Nancy McGlaughlin; grandson of John Marshall and Charlotte Kelker, and of James McGlaughlin and Louisa Brinker; named for his uncle, William Kelker Marshall (1829-1911) of Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania.

"The funeral services of William, the eldest son of E. R. Marshall, took place on Sunday afternoon last. The services were conducted in the Presbyterian church by Rev. Lowry. The building was very much crowded and a large number of friends were on the outside. The services were very impressive indeed."

"The Weekly Phoenix", Parker City, Pennsylvania: Friday, 24 June 1881; there was no obituary as such, so we don't know the circumstances of this young man's death.

A descendant of Col. Christopher Truby and his wife Sybilla Bauman through their daughter Catharina Truby Rohrer Marshall and her second husband, John Marshall.
