MARRERO, Angel Luis 84, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 17, 2014. Catholic by faith, Angel was a Korean War veteran, proudly serving 22 years before retiring form the United States Air Force. Angel enjoyed watching sports, especially the Tampa Bay Rays, Miami Dolphins and the Tampa Bay Bucs and loved painting. Survived by his beloved wife, Virginia, of 61 years; loving children, Sandra Rubio (Gustavo), Franklin Marrero and Marisol Carter; his cherished grandchildren, Aleece, Susan, Nestor, Nicole, Amber, Raquel; and three great-grandchildren as well as survived by his dear brother Ruben Marrero. A prayer service will be held Monday December 22 12:30pm at

Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 W. Brandon Blvd., Brandon with military honors to follow at 2:30pm at Sarasota National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Angel's name to a veterans organization of your choice.
