Deceased Name: Hazel Evelyn Marley

JACKSBORO - Hazel Evelyn Marley, 89, of Jacksboro died Monday, April 11, 2005, in Dallas.
A service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2005, at First Baptist Church in Jacksboro. Burial will follow at Winn Hill Cemetery in Jack County. Bro. Clyde Wilton and Bro. Dale Berry will officiate.
She was born Dec. 7, 1915, in Jack County to Jake Newton and Amy (Wilton) Parrish. On Dec. 16, 1936, she married Robert Marley in Jacksboro.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Jacksboro. She retired as a schoolteacher after 25 years. She was a 60-year member of the Jacksboro Chapter of Eastern Star 390.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Winn Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Marley was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Laverne Cardenas; grandson, Michael Marley; son-in-law, James Liston; and brother, Herbert Parrish.
Survivors include daughter, Patricia Liston of Jacksboro; sons, Thomas Marley and wife Patti of Denton, R.W. Marley Jr. of Jacksboro and Charles Marley of Coppell; seven grandchildren, Mary Jackson, Donna Roberts, Bryan Marley, Steven Marley, Wade Marley, Lisa Marley and Rachel Marley; five great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Edrie Parrish, Anita Marley, Ellen Marley and Wilma Marley.
