Lucille G. (Mares) Clausen, age 83, of Monticello, MN, passed away on Saturday May 22nd, 2010, at New River Medical Center Rehab and Extended Care in Monticello.
Lucille was born on December 14th, 1926, in Annandale, MN the daughter of Ben and Cecilia (Vogel) Mares.
She was united in marriage to Lawrence L. "Babe" Clausen on May 6th, 1950 at St. Olaf's Catholic Church in Minneapolis, MN.
Lucille is survived by her loving family: husband, Lawrence "Babe"; daughter, Cindy (Brad) Fyle of Monticello; grandchildren, Sheri Fyle of Crosby, MN, Dan Fyle of Peoria, IL; sister, Irene (Logan) Prowse of Winnipeg, Canada; sister-in-law, Joan (Gene) Anonsen of St. Paul, MN.
Preceded in death by: parents, Ben and Cecilia Mares; brothers, Willard and Bud Mares; sisters, Janet, Bernice and JoAnn Mares; daughter, Nancy Thomas.
Casket Bearers are Kim Anderson, Chad Richer, Joan Swan, Doug Hennen, Dan Hennen and Gene Anonsen.
Mass of Christian Burial held Wednesday, May 26th 10:30 A.M. at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Monticello.
Visitation held Tuesday at CHURCH from 5-7 P.M. with a prayer service at 6 P.M. Visitation also one hour prior to Mass at the church.
Interment: St. Henry's Catholic Cemetery – Monticello, MN.
