Rodessa Ann "Ro" Marceaux passed away on Friday, November 16, 2007, with her loving family by her side. Ro was born on September 5 1956 to Walter and Wanda Hebert LeBouef. Ro has three siblings, Darwin LeBouef, Pam Colella, and Annette Ruiz. Ro was married to Keith Ray Marceaux on September 7, 1974, and they shared a love that began in high school and blossomed into 33 years of love, devotion, and happiness. Together they raised three loving sons, Joshua Brooks Marceaux, Chad Anthony Marceaux, and Paul David Marceaux. Ro carried herself with a sense of grace and humility extending compassion to everyone in her life. She inspired all with her ability to bestow infinite love with a sincere passion for life's treasures. Her unconditional love for her husband and children existed with every breath she took, every beat of her heart, and every moment of her life.Ro was not only a loving wife and mother, but also a respected businesswoman. Together, Ro and Keith owned "The Health Food Cottage". Ro nurtured and grew the business from a small shop on Avenue G to a full service Health Food establishment on Highway 35. The store has a beautiful decorum, providing a peaceful and harmonious environment, which exudes her very essence. Ro's charming smile, gracious and helpful persona embodied her entire staff. Her family would like to extend a special thanks to the members of Holy Cross Catholic Church, the members of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, and all others that offered prayers and support to her and her family during their time of grief. The Rosary will be held at 8:00 PM Sunday, November 18, 2007 at Holy Cross Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, November 19, 2007 at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Reverend Susan Kennard and Father Casey Jarzombek officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale North Cemetery. Pallbearers include Sandy Marceaux, Shawn Marceaus, Joshua Marceaux, Chad Marceaux, Paul Marceaux, and Darwin LeBouef. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Houston Hospice or Matagorda County Nature and Birding Center.
