She is survived by several cousins and close friends including, Rick and Janet Roberts of Winchester, Jay Pennell of Manchester, Betsy Miller of Woodson, Darlene Bell of Manchester, Ruth Pennell of Manchester, John and Gladys Huff of Manchester and Cynthia Dolen of Winchester. She was preceded in death by one son, C. Phillip Andras on November 2, 1987.
Mrs. Andras was raised in Clements Station where her Dad operated a country grocery store for many years. While growing up she attended Durbin School and Central Point. At that time she studied piano and as she grew older she studied voice. In later years she taught piano. She graduated from Franklin High School in 1944. She was very active in all of the music activities in and around Franklin even after graduation. She worked as a secretary for several years at McConathy Insurance Agency in Roodhouse, Passavant Area Hospital, Wareco and the State of Illinois. She was a member of the Manchester United Methodist Church for over 50 years, and was active there until her health prevented her. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star where she had served at Worthy Matron, Home Extension where she served one year as President and the American Legion Auxiliary Post 279 in Jacksonville. She loved her friends and family and enjoyed shopping and her cats.
Services were entrusted to Airsman-Hires Funeral Home of Roodhouse, Illinois.
