Oakley "Dale" Mann, 60, of Orangeburg, SC, passed away Monday, November 30, 2015 at his residence. Dale was born December 31, 1954, to the late Oakley L. Mann, Jr. and Virginia G. Todd Mann. He was predeceased by his nephew, Chris Pender and his niece, April McKenzie.
He retired from the Albemarle Corporation after many years of service. His family are active members of the Columbia Road Church of God in Orangeburg. Dale was a United States Navy Veteran and a lifetime member of the NRA.
Survivors include his mother of Orangeburg; sisters: Robin M. (David) Woodward of Orangeburg and Hope M. (Harvey) McKenzie of Springfield; brothers: Arnold (Sheridan) Mann of Tega Cay, SC and Gary (Jennifer) Mann of Orangeburg; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Dukes Harley Funeral Home with Bishop L. Keith Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Dukes Harley Funeral Home. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Kenny Jordan, Ray Holeman, George Jones, T. C. Sanford, LaRue Jordan and David Woodward.
