Olga Blom, 78, of Plains Township, died Wednesday afternoon at River Street Manor, Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Plainsville, Plains Township, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Justina Marko Man. She and her late husband, William, founded and operated the Schlindler's Bakery, Scranton; and then Laidig's Bakery, Philadelphia, retiring in 1962. She was a former member of the Plainsville Birthday Club.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Elmer; sister, Elsa.
Surviving are sons, George, Plains Township; John, Holland, Pa.; brother, Frank, Plains Township; sister, Rose Ferki, Murfreesboro, N.C.; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday from the Corcoran Funeral Home, 20 S. Main St., Plains Township, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in SS. Peter and Paul Church, Plains Township.
Interment will be in Italian Independent Cemetery, West Wyoming.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to the Blind Association, 63 N. Franklin St., Wilkes-Barre, 18701.
The Plains Lions Club will meet 7 p.m. Friday.
