Mrs. John T. Herres (Dorothy Malone) died in Pomeroy Monday at the age of 31. She was the daughter-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Michael P. Herres of Walla Walla.

Born April 7, 1919 at Pomeroy, she was married to John Herres at Pomeroy in 1944.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, John T. Jr., 5, and Frederick, 2; one daughter, Joan Kay, 3; her mother, Mrs. Edna Malone of Spokane; two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Schuster of Walla Walla and Mrs. Frances Bennett of Burley, Ida., and one brother, John Malone of Pomeroy.

She was a member of the Holy Catholic church, the Holy Rosary Altar society, and Royal Neighbors of America.

Rosary services will be held at the Richardson funeral home, Pomeroy, at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and funeral services will be held at the Holy Rosary Catholic church Thursday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Father D. Brenden O'Connor officiating. Interment will be at the Pomeroy Holy Rosary cemetery.
