Connie Jean (Malone) Havel was born July 19, 1945, in Red Willow County at St. Catherine Hospital in McCook. She died April 14, 2011, at the home of her nephew in Zillah, Washington at the age of 65 years. Connie was born to Gale and Lucille (Hays) Malone.

The Malone family resided at the M-Ranch near Palisade, Nebraska. She attended Star School in rural Hayes County and Palisade Public School. As a teenager, Connie accepted Jesus as her personal savior.

Connie married Larry Doyle. To this union three children were born, Sandra Dee, Billy Dean and Keith Eugene.

Connie was a waitress, chief, employed by Grand Island Ordnance Plant, school bus driver, wife and mother. Connie was always ready to help wherever there was a need.

In later years, failing health prevented her from doing the many jobs she enjoyed.

Connie is survived by her children, Sandra, Bill and Keith; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; one brother, Gary Malone and wife, Judy; sisters, Evelyn McGregor, Alta Keating and husband, Robert, Bonnie Johnson and husband, Greg; and a host of relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death was twin brother, Lonnie Eugene; parents, Gale and Lucille Malone; sister, Nancy; grandparents, Otto and Leona Malone and Austin and Mabel Hays; and brother-in-law, Clifford McGregor.

Connie chose cremation and a celebration of life is in Palisade, Nebraska at a later date. One of Connie's favorite Scriptures was Psalm 23.
