Earl Malnick
COTTAGE GROVE — Earl Malnick of Cottage Grove died Oct. 4 of age-related causes. He was 83. No service is planned.
He was born Nov. 15, 1927, in San Francisco to Harry and Anne Goldberg Malnick. He married Norma George on Oct. 16, 1960, in Carson City, Nev.
He graduated from high school and attended college for two years. He served in the Army as a cook. He worked as a general contractor in residential home construction and was a Lane County park ranger for the past 20 years.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Randy of Orlando, Fla.; two daughters, Jill Igemmet and Sharon Boyer, both of Cottage Grove; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
