Age 90, daughter of the late Edward and Mabel Shreve Mallick. She was a graduate of the Union City Schools, and had been employed by the former York and Foster Chair Company, the Standard Chair Company, the Molden Fiber Glass Company and lastly by Dr. Ellsworth Henderson, whom she enjoyed working with.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton John Burger, whom she married October 8, 1937 in Union City, Pa. on August 25, 1979. She was also preceded in death by brothers, George and Frank Mallick; two sisters, Ruth Rooney and Mary Porter; a son, Edward Burger; and two sons that died at birth.

She is survived by a daughter, Alice Burger, of Union City, Pa.; a sister, Esther Sammons, of Bradford, Pa.; three nieces, Ruth of Bradford, Pa., Marie of Florida and Mary (Porter) Geib of Erie, Pa.; and also two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
