Lois Mallard Altman Ardle -Eden- Lois Mallard Altman Ardle, 86, died Feb. 18, 2007 at her residence after a long illness. The Screven County native was a member of Faulkville Baptist Church. She was a member of the Senior Citizens in Garden City and Pooler and had been active at the YMCA in Pooler. She loved gardening and flowers. She was preceded in death by her son, Ellis Altman; her daughter, Kate Altman; and three grandchildren. Survivors: her children, Frances (Terry) Ritzert of St. Louis, MO, Barbara Kennedy of Faulkville, Von (Rosie) Altman of Faulkville, Patricia (Buzz) Sullenger of Oxnard, CA, Theresa (Roy) Hildebrandt of Rincon, and Carol (Otto) Bauner of Savannah; brother, Orel Mallard of Eden; sister-in-law, Macy Mallard of Faulkville; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6 -8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday, February 22, 2007 at Faulkville Baptist Church. Mrs. Ardle will lie in state for one hour prior to funeral time. Interment: 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Jackson Baptist Church, Screven County, Georgia. Thomas C.
