Dorothy Anne Makepeace Haney, age 67, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2011 in Bountiful, Utah.

She was born June 24, 1943 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada to Paul Bleeker Makepeace and Dorothy Ellen Martin Makepeace. She married Marvin D. Haney on August 25, 1967 in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they had eight children.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and held many Church positions. She found joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren and serving in the Bountiful Temple.

She is survived by her loving husband, Marvin D. Haney; her children, Paula C. Haney, Michael D. Haney (Nanette), Denise A. Timothy (Wayne), Christopher R. Haney, Jason D. Haney (Kara), Melanie M. Haney, and Derek J. Haney; and her ten grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her son, Brian C. Haney.

Funeral Services for Anne will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Bountiful East Stake Center, 600 East 2150 South, Bountiful, Utah. Friends may also visit on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, Utah, and from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services on Saturday.
Interment: Bountiful Memorial Park.
