Dr. J.A. MAIRS of Browning was born near Ravenswood, West Virginia.
(He was ) The fourth son of THOMAS and LOUISA ARNOLD MAIRS, the former a native of Ireland.
At age ten came with parents to Milan, MO later to Browning MO.
Graduated with honors from the Louisville Medical College, KY 27 Feb 1878.
Married SARAH RICHARDSON 14 Aug 1878.
Three children born,
CLORA and ALVA both deceased.
