Mary Marcia Main Lodge, 62, of Lakewood, Colo., died Dec. 10, 2007, at home.
She was born in Danville, Ill., the daughter of Ty and Edith Main. She attended Butler University and received a master's degree in guidance and counseling from Illinois State University. She worked in Tennessee and Indianapolis after her marriage. In 1977, she and her family moved to Colorado. In the past 10 years, she worked at the Lakewood Library. She had traveled extensively and especially loved the American West. She also enjoyed musical theater, skiing, hiking and movies.
She is survived by one son, Gavin Knox Lodge IV of New York City, N.Y.; one brother, David Main of Champaign, Ill.; two nieces; and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gavin Knox Lodge III, formerly of Madison, who died in 1983.
The funeral was held Saturday, Dec. 15, at Green Mountain United Methodist Church in Lakewood, Colo.
