Shelby News June 11, 1931 Shelbyville, KY Mrs. J. M. Mahuron Dies Thursday
Mrs. Augusta Newton Mahuron, native of Anderson County and wife of J. M. Mahuron, died at her home in the Smithfield neighborhood last Thursday, following an invalidism of years. She was fifty eight years of age and a resident of this county the most of her life.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the grave in Simpsonville, by the Rev. Arthur Stovall of the Simpsonville Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters.
