A lover of classical music, she was skilled in needlework, crocheting, Japanese punch-needle, and famous for her cheesecake. She was an avid reader, a fan of the LA Times crossword daily and a wicked bridge player.
A longtime resident of Glendale, she will be buried in Forest Lawn Glendale in a private memorial service on October 26, 2013.
Surviving are sons, Gregory (Marjorie) of Richmond, Indiana and David of Des Moines, Iowa; grandchildren, Alden, Darcy, Paul, and Thom, and their spouses; and two great-grandchildren.
