Last rites for 78-year-old Mrs. Pauline Brewster, who died in Sacred Heart Hospital, Fort Madison, were held January 14 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Farmington. Father Clifford Egerton officiated and burial was in the Bonaparte Cemetery.
The former Pauline Mahler, Mrs. Brewster was the daughter of the Maximillan and Rozina Mahler, pioneer residents of this sector. A life resident of the Bonaparte vicinity, she is survived by two brothers Fred and Frank Mahler, both of Bonaparte, and four sisters: Mrs. Theresa Nass and Mrs. Anna Dea, both of Glasgow; Mrs. Jenny Hayes, Grinnell, and Mrs. Amelia Alexander, of Bonaparte.
