Annetta Mary Abram, age 91 of Georgetown, Ohio, died Friday, September 12, 2008 at her residence.
She was a classically trained ballet dancer in Cincinnati and Detroit in her younger years and more recently worked in pupil personnel for Brown Co. Schools, until her retirement.
Mrs. Abram was born on June 16, 1917 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of the late Cary Albert and May (Stouder) Mahaffey.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Cynthia E. Abram, who died on August 22, 2008; her husband, George Stanley Abram, in 1978;
one sister, Corinne M. Reed;
two brothers, Albert and Edward Mahaffey.
Mrs. Abram is survived by one daughter, Suzanne Bruney and husband James T. of Lancaster, Ohio; four grandchildren, including Jennifer DeVeaux (Christopher) who was her special caregiver in her last weeks;
fourteen great-grandchildren;
nieces – Pauline M. Sachs (Mike) and Corinne Noschang, both of Cincinnati, Ohio;
special friends – Dwight and Inez Marriott and Mary Fisher of Higginsport, Ohio and Jonathan and Jackie Parker of California.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 16 at Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday.
Interment will be in Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
