Birth: 1800
Death: Apr. 11, 1856

My 5th Great-Grand Aunt.

She was the daughter of Elias Magers & Elizabeth Arnold (Magers).

She married James Calhoun Bonar about 1816 in Ohio.

The following note was found at ancestry.com~

James and Sarah were buried in the Bonar Family Cemetery located on the old homestead of his parents. This land on Fork Ridge is now occupied by the family of Clarence Woods.

Ethel (Bonar) Welmaker says that James, Sarah, and children Sarah Ellen and Matthew are buried in Oak Grove Cemetery; another record says that the markers were removed from the Bonar Cemetery and placed in Oak Grove Cemetery.

She was mother to: Children

John Marshall BONAR,Elias BONAR,Rebecca Eliza BONAR, Susan Jane BONAR, Mary J. BONAR, Miles BONAR, Jesse BONAR, Matthew BONAR, and Sarah Ellen BONAR.
