Cecile Dyson Macon, formerly of Richmond, died in Virginia Beach on July 23, 2000, at the age of 93 years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edgar Barbour Macon. Survivors include numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Princess Anne Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
